MFTeaser - I Love Your Smile

Welcome to day three of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

Today I have a sweet card I created with the even sweeter Triple Scoop set Complimentary Greetings. In case you're wondering what makes this set so sweet (aside from the amazing sentiments), well, it's yours absolutely free during the month of June with a qualifying $60 order!!! It just doesn't get any sweeter than free!

I paired one of the sentiments  from Complimentary Greetings with the new Designer Labels 2 STAX Die-namics to create the sentiment panel from Fossil card stock. I also used the gorgeous new Hibiscus Die-namics for the flower and topped it with a pearl. The patterned papers are from the Authentique Splendid bundle.

On the inside I used another sentiment from the set and the Notched Border Die-namics was perfect to separate the sentiment from the patterned paper.

MFTeaser - Give it a Whirl

Welcome to day two of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

Today I'm sharing a fun card I made using the new Fred Bear and the Pinwheel. Doesn't he look like he's having sooooo much fun! I picture him in a field with a summer breeze blowing.

I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured him with copic markers. I paper pieced the pinwheel with one of the patterns from the My Mind's Eye Life of the Party paper pad. Check out that gorgeous big tag...that was cut out of Blue Raspberry card stock using the new Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics. I used the Fresh Cut Grass Die-namics to cut out two green polka dot grass layers for him to walk through.

Here are the new Hexagons Die-namics again...I ❤ them! I cut out two base hexagon strips from Hot Fudge card stock and adhered them to the Fossil card base. Then I cut out the inside pieces from patterned paper and layered them onto the base hexagons. I used an extra patterned hexagon folded over the top of the tag under the button.

BFF {MFTWSC74}

It's time to get sketchy with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club and sketch 74.

I used the fun Girly Graphic Tee stamps and Die-namics set, and made a card for my BFF Dana. And I used her favourite colour, orange. The papers from the My Mind's Eye Stella Rose Mabel paper pack were perfect for this card.

I cut out the t-shirt twice, once from cream card stock and again from Orange Fizz card stock. Then I cut off the sleeves, around the neck, and the hem from the cream shirt and glued it onto the orange one. I combined a few stamps from the set to create my sentiment and inked the letters with Memento Rich Cocoa, but I inked the heart with Memento Potter's Clay. Then I covered the heart in orange Stickles, and once that dried I coated it with glossy accents. I used the circle STAX 1 & circle STAX 2 Die-namics to cut out the background circles then stitched them together. I used the little open scallop strip Die-namics to cut out the Hot Fudge card stock strip and added some orange rhinestones for a little bling. The Tangy Orange card stock layer below the striped piece adds a touch of contrast and the strip of hot fudge ribbon is topped with a corduroy button.

Here are all the sketchy details:

There's a prize each week for one participant, chosen at random. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week a keyword is assigned to the sketch, and this week's keyword is MFTWSC74. All you need to do to enter is upload your card to the gallery at Splitcoast and enter the given keyword in the keyword box during the upload process. After the deadline (noon Eastern on Tuesday) we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher!
Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog to view the entire list of design team participants...there's plenty of inspiration for you with today’s sketch!

MFTeaser - Miss You Already

Welcome to day one of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

Today the design team is showcasing Who's That Girl? Godspeed. It's perfect for the military man (or woman) in your life.

On the front of the card I used the girl image and paper pieced her dress with one of the patterns from the My Mind's Eye Indie Chic Saffron paper pack. The layout is Jen's May Sketch For You To Try...I'm squeaking in under the wire this month.

I used the new Notched Border Die-namics die to cut out the grey strip under the image, then saved the "negative cut" and used it a little lower on the card. I stitched a sentiment tab, which I cut out using one of the Mini Tabs Foursome Die-namics dies. I paired the patterned paper with Pink Lemonade card stock.

On the inside I used the other image from the set and another sentiment, along with the fabulous new Hexagons Die-namics...swoon!

Here are the details about the upcoming release on June 5 at 10 PM EST:
  • You can attend the New Release Party on June 5 from 8-10 PM EST HERE in the MFT forum, where you can enjoy fun, games, and PRIZES!

Best Things in Life {MFTWSC73}

It's time to get sketchy with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club and sketch 73.

I used one of the amazing sentiments from the Vertical Greetings II Stamps and Die-namics set for my card today. I love how these sentiments make you see things differently in life...they're so inspiring!

I chose patterned papers from the Teresa Collins Fabrications Canvas pad and paired them with Fossil and  Whip Cream card stock. I used the Vertical Greetings II Die-namics die to cut out the sentiment panel then used the woodgrain fence Die-namics die to cut out the fence. The leafy flourish Die-namics was perfect for an accent behind the flowers, which I cut out using the flower and leaf trio Die-namics.

Here are the sketchy details:

There's a prize each week for one participant, chosen at random. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week a keyword is assigned to the sketch, and this week's keyword is MFTWSC73. Aloha

It's that special time of the month when you can get new MFT stamps two weeks before they're released, with the Pure Innocence Fun in the Sun VIP collection.

This month's collection is sure to bring a little sunshine to your day. For just $34.90 you'll receive:
  • Pure Innocence Hula Girl stamp set
  • Pure Innocence Sprinkler Girl stamp set
  • Fun in the Sun Sentiments Mini set (VIP exclusive stamp set that will never again be offered for sale, a $9.00 value, FREE)
  • Hibiscus Die-namics die
  • Notched Border Die-namics die

My card is fun and cheery, just like the sweet Pure Innocence Hula Girl I used. She's stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with copics. I chose papers from the Cosmo Cricket DeLovely paper pad and used one of them to paper piece her top. Love that little bit of belly she's showing. The image was cut out with the rectangle STAX 1 Die-namics and I used the mini tabs foursome Die-namics to cut out the Lemon Drop tab for the sentiment. By the way, the layout is this month's guest designer sketch challenge and you'll find all the details in this post. You should play along!

Here's the gorgeous Hibiscus Die-namics die cut flower. The impressions in the flower petals and the leaf add so much detail and depth. I also used the Notched Border Die-namics die to cut out the green patterned paper strips. The leaf was cut out of Sour Apple card stock and the background is Razzleberry card stock.

On the inside I stamped one of the sentiments from the Fun in the Sun Sentiments Mini set.

Be sure to start off at the MFT Blog for a complete list of participating designers. And don't forget, the Pure Innocence Fun in the Sun VIP collection is available only while supplies last.
